🕵️♀️ Friend or Follower? Review Challenge
Do your kids know everyone on their friends or followers list?
In Week 2 of our Digital Stranger Danger series, we’re helping kids slow down and take a closer look at their digital circles. This mission is simple, but powerful: review who’s really a friend — and who might be just a username.
🎯 Mission Steps
- Print the Mission Sheet (or grab a notebook)
- Write down 10 names from their friend/follower/gaming list
- For each one, ask:
- Do you know them in real life?
- Have you only talked to them online?
- Do you even remember who they are?
- Talk about:
- How each person ended up on the list
- Whether they’d share something private with that person
- Optional cleanup: Remove mystery contacts or update friend request settings

Use these sheets to help kids reflect and start important conversations about digital boundaries.
🧠 Talk With Your Child
- “How do you decide who to add as a friend?”
- “What would you do if someone you don’t remember messages you?”
- “Do you feel like you have to accept every friend request?”
📣 Want to Share Back?
We’d love to see how your family is completing this mission!
Snap a photo (with no names visible) and share it using #CyberReadyKids.
Let’s normalize kids curating their digital spaces — just like we do with real-life friendships.
